The yearly HMC BAZAAR was held on Saturday 7th June 2014 at our church. With temperatures starting off at around zero the people had a slow start but as the morning progressed the people turned up to see and support the event. Once again the CAKE and Pudding Table was a big hit with the kids enjoying the “fishing” stall. Food was a plenty and the boerie rolls, brekkie rolls, curry and rice, vetkoek and of course pannekoek was a hit with no food being left over. The tea garden run by the Youth was well attended and all enjoyed the scones and cake that went with the warm drinks. As usual many bargains were purchased on the White Elephant table. Kids (big and small) enjoyed buying the nice looking sweets from the sweet table and many will be enjoying the jams bought on the “jam/preserve” table for a good few weeks. The private stalls rounded off the bazaar with many pieces of “arts and crafts” up for sale. A special thanks to Maggie and her team for a job well done.
